March 14, 2026, Tennessee-Georgia Presbytery, Charleston Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Charleston, Tennessee. The presbytery met at 10 a.m., with Rev. Cliff Hudson elected moderator and Rev. Mark Craven elected vice moderator. The presbytery recognized and seated Rev. Elizabeth Spann and Willard Moses. The body approved the installation of Rev. Matthew Cox as associate pastor of Silverdale Cumberland Presbyterian Church and affirmed the ministry of Rev. Lee Hollingshead at Hickory Log, designating it as a worshipping community of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Pending receipt of her letter, Rev. Elizabeth Spann will be installed to serve Falling Water Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Judy Daughtery was received as a candidate for ministry, and Arnold Hambright was approved for ordination. The presbytery also approved recommendations from the Presbytery Council addressing chronic lack of participation and communication among certain members, with disciplinary measures to be applied as necessary. In other business, the presbytery approved a $10,000 bridge loan to Prospect United Cumberland Presbyterian Church as it continues negotiations to sell a portion of its property. El Redil Cumberland Presbyterian Church was authorized to negotiate and sell a portion of its property to Gwinnett County, with a presbytery trustee designated to sign the necessary documents.
