And you shall be my witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” Acts. 1:8
The Cumberland Presbyterian (CP) Church endorses, promotes, and supervises its missionaries and mission fields through the Missions Ministry Team. The office of Global Cross-Cultural Ministries has direct responsibility for the cross-cultural mission work of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church. The Missions Ministry Team has Cumberland Presbyterian Mission work (CP Churches) in: Australia, Brazil, Belize, Cambodia, Colombia, Cuba, France, Guatemala, Hong Kong – Macau, Laos, Haiti, Japan, Mexico, Philippines, South Korea and Spain. We have Cumberland Presbyterian missionaries working in Brazil, Colombia, Guatemala, the Philippines and Southeast Asia. We have CPs working as missionaries under the supervision of World Gospel Missions in Uganda, Africa. Missionaries supervised by the Missions Ministry Team are supported entirely by the Stott-Wallace Missionary Offering.
The Cumberland Presbyterian Church is a global church. We are all one international family connected by presbyteries and councils of churches in different countries. The Missions Ministry Teams acts as a bridge to help our churches around the world remain connected to the larger CP family. As a global church, we encourage all CPs from around the world to be involved in denominational leadership and decision-making. As an expression of our global family centered on Jesus Christ, our missionaries come from different countries: the USA, South Korea, and Colombia. All our missionaries are CP pastors, all left their country to be missionaries, and all are planting CP Churches on the mission field.
