CUMBERLAND PRESBYTERIAN MISSIONARIES

Our missionaries are full-time clergy or laypersons who work directly for the Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Their primary focus is establishing CP churches, founding CP institutions, or providing services to CP churches and institutions, all under the direct supervision of the Missions Ministry Team. Our missionary consultants serve in a part-time capacity and are individuals already residing in a specific country. They act as facilitators within their regions, coordinating leaders, identifying needs, and ensuring that church planters and local ministries receive the necessary support. Partner missionaries are CP members serving with non-CP mission agencies.

MISSIONARY WORK AROUND THE WORLD

The Cumberland Presbyterian (CP) Church is a global church. We are all one international family connected by presbyteries and councils of churches in different countries. The Missions Ministry Teams acts as a bridge to help our churches around the world remain connected to the larger CP family. As a global church, we encourage all CPs from around the world to be involved in denominational leadership and decision-making.

GLOBAL SOCIAL ACTION

The CP Church has various institutions and programs around the world that serve the community. Some of these institutions are large, serving hundreds of people. They demonstrate the love of Christ by meeting the needs of their community. We refer to them as social action ministries.
