The Reverend Kim Moore has temporarily returned from the mission field in Haiti and arrived safely back home on April 20, 2025. While she was not in immediate danger, recent developments near the city of Les Cayes—an important hub for her work—raised concerns about potential instability. The Ministry Council’s Missions Ministry Team, in consultation with the Missionary Crisis Team, local pastors, and Rev. Moore, decided it was wise to bring her home as a precaution.
MMT continues to closely monitor the geopolitical situation and assess when it might be safe and wise for Kim to return to Haiti. During this interim period, Kim will support the work of the MMT both domestically and potentially internationally, including her presence at our upcoming General Assembly.
Thank you for your continued prayers and support. We’re grateful for your partnership in this ministry.
