Stewardship, Our United Outreach, and Elected Officers
- Passed unanimously.
- Thanked Rev. Dr. Larry Blakeburn for his service.
- Approved the church calendar.
- Encouraged churches to create retirement accounts for their paid employees and investigate which persons might be eligible for and benefit from ministerial aid.
- General Assembly 195th, June 14-19, 2026, in Rogers, Arkansas, hosted by Arkansas Presbytery.
- Encouraged presbyteries to volunteer to host General Assembly.
- Approved the move to form a synod in Colombia.
Chaplains and Historical Foundation
- Passed unanimously.
- Encouraged congregations to continue receiving offerings for Chaplains.
- Encouraged the Historical Foundation to develop an emergency action plan for the ongoing operation of the Historical Foundation.
Ministry Council and Theology and Social Concerns
- Passed after some debate and with some dissension.
- CPC enter a period of reconciliation.
- Referred two issues to the United Committee on Theology and Social Concerns.
- Denied resolution on LGBTQ+ issues by Rev. Jeff Clark.
Judiciary Committee – Report One
- Passed unanimously after some comments.

Continued the Trademark Committee to consult with the Cumberland Presbyterian Church in America.

Higher Education and Cumberland Youth and Family Services
- Question was divided.
- Approved recommendations 1-4. See report packet as posted earlier.
- Rev. Dr. Michael Qualls spoke to recognize Michele Gentry for her work in the Program of Alternate Studies in Colombia.
Afternoon GA session commences with recommendation 5 of the Higher Education Report.
- Recommendation 5: Denied forming a covenential relationship with Memphis Theological Seminary at this time.
- Recommendation 6: Extensive discussion of the financial situation of MTS ensued. Possibility of closing MTS raised. Approved a committee to work with the seminary.
- Recommendation 7: populated the just formed General Assembly committee.
- Recommendation 8: asks for prayer for the Seminary and all persons involved.
Nominating Committee
- Alternates were nominated from the floor for (7) Judiciary, (8) Nominating, and (10) the Unified Committee on Theology and Social Concerns.
- Elected nominees excepting sections 7, 8, and 10.
- Proceeded to vote by paper ballot on the contested sections.
- Will post the names of those floor nominees elected at a later date.
Judiciary – Report Two
- Recommendation 1: toward the timely pursuit of disciplinary action. Passed.
- Recommendation 2: to deny the review of actions of the PJC in the matter of Brunswick CPC was passed.
- Recommendation 3: establish committee to inquire into the work of the Permanent Judiciary Committee. Passed 51 to 25 in a standing vote.
- Recommendation 4: Jimmy Payton resolution requiring discipline on the part of synods and presbyteries. After much debate, resolution denied.
- Recommendation 5: that all memorials and resolutions should come to the office of General Assembly 30 days before the meeting. After debate the resolution failed.
