The Chattanooga Music Club will host a free community concert featuring the Chattanooga Clarinet Choir at 3 p.m. Sunday, October 5, 2025, at First Cumberland Presbyterian Church (Tennessee-Georgia Presbytery), 1505 North Moore Road in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Founded in 1998 by longtime Chattanooga Symphony Orchestra clarinetist Jay Craven, the ensemble is composed of professional, amateur and student musicians. The choir is conducted by Nicholas Hartline, associate professor of music at Chattanooga State Community College and a performer with the Chattanooga Symphony and Huntsville Symphony. Founded in 1896, the Chattanooga Music Club is the state’s oldest music club and annually awards scholarships to high school seniors pursuing music studies.
