"The Incarnation"

The Incarnation is that unique entrance of God as the eternal Word (logos) into humanity in the Person of Jesus of Nazareth for the purpose of redemption. In consequence of this entrance, Jesus Christ was and continues to be both God and human in one Person, thereby being uniquely qualified to serve as our great High Priest, making intercession for transgressors at the Father's right hand.
