The Children of Israel had sinned against God so grievously that God had allowed their old enemy to capture them and drag them off into Babylon (BAGDAD, IRAQ)…. God sent a messenger to them to explain what would take place as they were hauled off in chains… The letter was delivered to the people by God’s servant EL-A-SAH… (We say, Elisha). God tells them that He was the one who sent them into captivity and that they would be there until they had a change of mind, heart and soul… God also tells them not to listen to the false prophets… the soothsayers….
