Vacation Bible School in a New Way

The summer of 2020 is shaping up to look very different than any summer we have ever experienced. Families are looking at the summer ahead without the traditional “in-person” activities they are accustomed to attending. Vacation Bible School is one of the activities that many churches are looking to do in a new way – one that is safer and more appropriate for the summer of 2020. It’s important that each church make decisions that create a safe experience for their families, and that are possible to effectively achieve in their setting. Planning for Vacation Bible School this summer is definitely not a “one size fits all” situation.

This summer Vacation Bible School could look like:

  • VBS in a Box
  • VBS on Zoom
  • Parking Lot VBS (Social distancing and safety precautions in place.)
  • At Home VBS
  • Virtual or Recorded VBS
