Manager, Ministry Resources & Information Services
The Ministry Council of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church is currently accepting applications for the position of Manager, Ministry Resources & Information Services. This position may be housed in the denominational headquarters (Center) in Memphis (Cordova), Tennessee, or in a local church, manager’s home office, or other approved location, provided the Manager can conduct required travel.

Process: Applicants must submit a complete application packet to be considered. A complete application packet includes:

a) Note that we are unable to process applications in an iOS environment, so please fill the application out in a Windows environment; you must have a recent version of Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer; click here to download and install a free copy of Adobe Acrobat Reader.
b) After accessing the application, you must download it to your local Windows computer to fill it out.
c) When you complete the form, click the “Submit” button in the upper right-hand corner of the form and follow the instructions that appear; Adobe Reader will forward your application to the appropriate mailbox. If the “Submit” option does not appear in your PDF reader, save the application and submit it by e-mail.
2. Current Resume must be sent to applications@cumberland.org with the subject line “Manager, Ministry Resources & Information Services”; failure to properly identify your email in this way may delay, or even jeopardize your application process.
3. Three letters of recommendation that cite examples from firsthand knowledge of candidate’s professional accomplishments, and that describe the candidate’s leadership, creativity, and call must be sent to applications@cumberland.org with the subject line Resume: Manager, Ministry Resources & Information Services. Current Denominational Center staff members and Ministry Council members may NOT provide letters of recommendation. Letters of recommendation must be signed by the author and sent directly to applications@cumberland.org. Unsigned letters or letters routed via applicants will not be accepted. The three letters of recommendation are to be from people other than the required three references provided on the online application.
DEADLINE: Complete application packets must be received no later than NOON (Central Standard Time) on Friday, April 10, 2026. Please note that the Denominational Center closes at Noon (Central Standard Time) on Fridays.
An Interview Panel will conduct initial phone interviews of qualified candidates late-April. Following initial interviews, individuals whom the Panel desires to interview in person will come to the Denominational Center or other location for a second interview in May. Ideally, the successful candidate will begin work in June 2026, following satisfactory completion of a background check.
