The Missions Ministry Team staff and elected team members are hosting a two-day retreat to help support and equip presbyterial Boards of Missions (or their equivalent) in the Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Discerning God’s Way for Missions (Isaiah 55:9, NIV) is designated for members of presbyterial boards of missions to learn about missions in the CP Church, to find ways to better engage with mission work, and to assist local churches in mission activities at home and around the world.
We encourage every presbytery to send at least one representative to the retreat. It is our hope to make this an annual event so we can establish better relationships with those who serve in the area of missions within presbyteries.
The retreat will be held at Deer Run Retreat Center (just west of Nashville) February 9-10, 2018. We will begin at 1 pm on Friday and conclude before lunch on Saturday. The cost will vary depending upon room type ($80). It includes two meals (dinner on Friday and breakfast on Saturday).
