Ruby Mae Tarrance, 101, of Bremen, Kentucky, died March 1, 2023. She was born Dec. 12, 1921, in Horse Branch, Kentucky, and was a member of Brier Creek Cumberland Presbyterian Church (Cumberland Presbytery). She wrote two books, Curse of Sawmill Holler and Roads End.
On March 2-3, 2023, severe storms causing tornadoes occurred from Texas to Indiana across the areas of many Cumberland Presbyterian churches. The Missions Ministry Team is seeking information regarding any damages which might have been caused. If any churches were damaged, we will post information as it is available.
